Awana
Awana is a group for Teachers, Helpers, and Parents.
“Approved Workmen Are Not Ashamed.”
The goal of Awana is “to reach boys and girls with the gospel of Christ and train them to serve Him.” Thus, the purpose of Awana is twofold: Evangelism and Training.
Evangelism – To draw boys and girls from the community into the Club ministry, that they may hear the Gospel of Jesus Christ and have opportunity to accept Him as Savior.
Training – To prepare Clubbers to fulfill the Great Commission, Awana places a great amount of scripture memory as a high priority.
